Stimulants increase your confidence, causing you to take risks you wouldnt normally take. They can also distort your sense of reality by effecting your perseption of light and sound
Cocaine, while initially making you feeling alert, quickley wears off, leaving you feeling tired and lethargic. This puts you at further risk of falling asleep at the wheel.
Anything which can cause you to see things that arent there is going to be leathal on the road should you react to them. Aswell as vision, hallucinogenic drugs also effect your other senses such as sight and aswell as your balance.
You may also experience blurred vision, anxiety and an overall detachment from reality.
Speed is similar to Cocaine in that it increases awarenes and confidence. They can cause you to take unnecssary risks. They can also cause paranoia, anxiety and distort your perception of reality.
Driving after having a spliff is roughly the equivalent of 4 pints of strong lager.
It prevents you from being able to concentrate for an extended period of time and seriously increases reaction times.
The usual effects of being stoned also apply. Paranoia, drowsiness, disorientation and a distorded percetion of light and sound.
